Dance and Chor: Vanessa Michielon
Performative installation, Graduate Showcase, Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance
This work was conceived as an illustration with words and sounds of the experience of dancing in various states, allowing the audience to virtually enter a dancer’s mind.
Can you tell what is going on in someone’s mind when he/she is executing a contemporary choreography?
This live performative installation draws attention to the cognitive experience of moving and invites the audience to enter the internal dimension of the dancer by simulating the streams of consciousness related to learning and performing in an optimal or negative mental state.
